SUMMARY: In 2007, a position audit was done on an Engineering Technician III position which
resulted in a recommendation to upgrade that position to an Engineering Technician IV. Due to an
administrative oversight, this was not done for the 2008 budget. It is requested that the City Council
approve a personnel budget adjustment in Engineering to eliminate one Engineering Technician III
position and add one Engineering Technician IV position.
ATT ACHMENTS:
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Increase in salary of approximately $3400.00 for
the remainder of 2008.
