SUMMARY: Sealed bids for construction of the project titled "SW Bremerton Residential Sewer
Extension Pump Station" were opened on June 3, 2008. The engineer's estimate for construction of
the project is $1,100,000. Four bids were received for this project. Pivetta Brothers Construction Inc.
was the lowest responsive, responsible bidder with a bid of$I,081,210.74 (including sales tax).

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Construction of this project is funded by a
revenue bond. The 2008 budget for this project, including construction of the force main, is
$4,750,000.

Move to award a contract in the amount of$I,081,210.74 (including sales tax) with Pivetta Brothers
Construction Inc. for construction of the project titled "SW Bremerton Residential Sewer Extension
Pump Station" and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the necessary contract documents for
construction.
