SUMMARY: The Washingtop State Department of Ecology has offered the City a Remedial Action
Grant to provide 75% reimbursement of costs associated with implementing the Agreed Order at the
former Chevron Property. A total of$I,176,750 is offered at this time.

FISCAL IMP ACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): This grant provides funding for the Remediation
Work which is underway at the former Chevron Property. These grant funds were included in the
2008 budget.
