SUBJECT: Authorize the purchase of Self
Contained Breathing Apparatuses and
accessories from Sea Western, Inc. using the
Interlocal Purchasing Agreement with
Whatcom Fire District #6.

SUMMARY: The Fire Department would like to replace all of its forty-four (44) Self Contained
Breathing Apparatuses that were refurbished in 2000. Whatcom Fire District #6 went out to bid in
February of2008. On April 16, 2008 the City of Bremerton authorized the Interlocal Cooperative
Purchasing Agreement with Whatcom Fire District #6. The total cost of purchase is $265,840.23.
