SUMMARY: Ordinance No. 5001 set limits on terms served on the Lodging Tax Advisory
Committee by businesses collecting the lodging tax and groups who may benefit from funding.
The one-year term has expired and needs to be filled and a vacancy for the two-year term needs to be
filled.
The action before the City Council is to appoint Holly James, Board President for the Brernerton
Symphony Association, to a one-year term and to appoint Ryan Rydalch, General Manager for the
Hampton Inn and Suites, for one year, which is the remainder of former committee member David
Tufts' term.
