SUMMARY: The grant through the Department of Ecology would fund the parking renovation,
storm drainage improvements, new restroom, shoreline stabilization, pathway improvements and
landscaping additions. The grant application has been endorsed by the Bremerton Central Lions and
the Olympic College Engineering Technology program has donated services toward soil testing and
design.
The application has been reviewed by the Park Board, Public Safety and Parks Committee and the
Finance Committee. .

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): $1,000,000 in capital improvement re:V:enue to be
matched by a combination of a local park development grant, in-kind labor and City REET.
