SUMMARY: Sealed bids for construction of the project titled "Reservoir 12 Seismic Retrofit and
. Roof Repairs" were opened on March 24,2008. The engineer's estimate for this project is
$ #9/ 5(,5;q5:_~ _ bids were received for this project, fis~hP-(' 61'11. CoYlt~as the lowest
respo'nsive, responsible bidder with a bid of $ J./ D I 71./3. 1~(including sales tax).
ATTACHMENTS: 1.) Council Summary; 2.) Aerial Photo; 3.) Probable Structural Cost; and
4.) Bid Tabulation.
FISCAL IMP ACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The project is funded by utility rates. The
Engineer's Estimate for construction was $492,000. The 2008 budget is $400,000. Any additional
costs above the approved 2008 budget for this project will come from Water Utility Rate Capital
(Fund 401).
