SUMMARY: The purchase of these volutes are needed to replace the original pump volutes, which
are severely worn. The new volutes are from the original manufacturer of the pumps. The total
purchase price for all four pump volutes is $97,100.00 (including tax). The volutes will be purchased
through Whitney Equipment Company, Inc.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): This purchase is budgeted through the 2008
Wastewater PS/WWTP Capital Budget of$500,000. Bars # 594.3535.56430.
