SUMMARY: The Engineering Division is proposing to purchase anew total work station. The
existing work station is over ten years old, the software is outdated and the manufacturer no longer
gives technical support on the software. Engineering has received a quote from Kuker Ranken Inc.
from the state bid list for $37,310.60.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): $40,000 was budgeted in the 2008 Water capital
budget for purchase of a Surveying Total Work Station.
