SUMMARY: The proposed ordinance amends Chapter 2.26 ofthe Bremerton Municipal Code
relating to emergency management to establish in the Code the Mayor's authority to issue a
proclamation of emergency and allow for the utilization of certain emergency powers under certain
circumstances and to terminate the proclamation of emergency when the emergency situation no
longer exists.
