ADDERDUN TO THE 1986 LABOR CORTRACT BETWEER IAFF. LOCAL 437 AND
THE CITY OF BRENERTON
This addendum is to recognize the existing practice of paying
Compensatory Time/Overtime (at time and one half) for Chief
Officers serving as Duty Chief.
When a Chief Officer is assigned and serves as Duty Chief for a
period of seven (7) days, he ~hall receive eight (8) hours of
Compensatory Time/Overtime.
If any of the ten (10) City recognized holidays occur during the
Duty Chief period, said Chief Officer shall receive an additional
two (2) hours of Compensatory Time/Overtime for each holiday
during that seven (7) day period.
