Gentlemen:
On November 21, 1975, at a meeting of the members of the Bremerton
Police Officers Association the last offer made by the City of
Bremerton to the. Police Officers was discussed at quite length.
This offer was the 11% pay increase to all police officers and a
100% coverage dental plan to all police officers.
A vote was taken and the officers present voted to accept the
offer by the following margin. 77% were for the latest'" offer,
and 23% were against it. The motion to accept the offer carried.
I honestly hope that we can continue to keep the mutual trust that
has shown to prevail between both our parties.
Yours very truly

He: Wage Negotiations
Gentlemen:
This is to advise that the Bremerton Police Officers
Association is in the process of preparing to start
negotiations between the City and the Association.
The Bremerton Fire Department will not be associated
with the P~lice Officers Association in these negotiations.
Some of the matters to be considered are a cost of living
increase, wage catch up with cities of our size, and
fringe benefits.
I will be acting as chairman of the Wage Committee for
the Association. I would request that the negotiations
abide by the provisions set forth in HCW 41.56.440 and
41.56.450, Laws of 1973.
