Inc. for Reservoir Seismic Upgrade Design

SUMMARY: Seismic upgrades will be done at Reservoirs 19, 17/20, and 15/18. RH2 Engineering
will provide design services and assistance during construction. Design services include developing
FLO-LOC equipment specifications, process and instrumentation control design, and developing
contract documents. Services during construction include submittal review, vendor work review, field
equipment testing, startup assistance, and training.

FISCAL IMPACTS: The project is funded by DWSRF Loan (# 03-65103-010). The consultant
contract amount is $34,000. The project is included in the 2008 budget; however, a budget
adjustment is required.

RECOMMENDED MOTION: Move to appro e the ofessional Services Agreement with RH2
Engineering, Inc. to provide engineering design and construction assistance services for seismic
upgrades at Reservoirs 19, 17/20 and 15/18 and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the
necessary agreement with substantially the same terms and conditions as presented.
