RESOLUTION NO. 3~
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, Washington, supporting the Employee Wellness
Program.
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the importance of raising awareness and
empowering employees to make positive health-enhancing lifestyle choices; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that improvement to employee health
can result in better morale, reduced sick leave usage and enhance productivity; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the importance of decreasing the use of
health care services under provider health benefits plans; NOW THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON, WASHINGTON,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. City Council hereby expresses its support of the City of Bremerton
Wellness Program.
SECTION 2. Severabilitv. If anyone or more sections, subsections, or
sentences of this Resolution are held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portion of this Resolution and the same shall remain in full
force and effect.
SECTION 3. Effective Date. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage.
