SUMMARY: Residential ~ properties built before 1978 are required to be free of lead paint
hazards in order to participate in the Housing Choice Voucher program. The proposed resolution
approves a lead hazard abatement partnership between BHA and KCCHA so that r~ properties
within the City of Bremerton can benefit from a grant received by KCCHA to provide free testing and
repairs to correct lead hazards.
