SUMMARY: This amendment modifies the scope of work with Parametrix to provide a Remedial
Investigation (RI) and Feasibility Study (FS) for the treatment and removal of contaminants in the soil
and groundwater at the former Chevron Property. When the original scope of work was developed
our expectation was that a detailed RIfFS would not be required by Ecology. The agency
subsequently added that requirement to the approval process. In addition, the amendment provides
for an increase in the scope outlined in the original Professional Services Agreement for Public
Involvement, and Design of the Evergreen Park Improvements.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): This work is included in the 2007 and 2008
budgets. All remedial acti{)n included in Task 13 will be initiated only after the Department of
Ecology (DOE) allocates Reimbursement Funds to the Project. DOE Reimbursement of Professional
