SUBJECT: Property tax levy for, collection
in 2008

SUMMARY: The City's property taxes are levied on an annual basis through passage of an
ordinance. The proposed ordinance will implement a general property tax levy and a voted EMS levy
at the statutory rate limit as well as a bond redemption levy at a rate adequate to provide funds
necessary to meet debt service obligations
ATTACHMENTS: Ordinance
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The proposed 2008 budget anticipates property
tax revenues based on this action.
