SUMMARY: During the Lodging Tax application process for 2007 funds, the Parks & Recreation
Department applied for and received funds for signage in the downtown area. The Parks &
Recreation Department is requesting additional funds " '. for lighting the downtown area during the
holiday season.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): There is adequate revenue anticipated in the fund
balance for 2007 in the Civic Improvement Fund to fund this application, in addition to the funds
carried forward and allocated for 2008 by the Lodging Tax Committee.
