PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
This AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 19th day of September 2007 by and
between lifeWork Training Solutions (herein called the event presenter) located at 1276
NE Magnum Court, Bremerton, WA 98311 and The City of Bremerton (herein called the
event sponsor) located at 345 Sixth Street, Suite 600, Bremerton, WA 98337
lifeWork Training Solutions (L TS) is an employee training firm which specializes in
employee professional development and employee wellness training programs. It is within
this capacity that L TS will present a series of training workshops at the Norm Dicks
Government Center Meeting Chambers on October 23, November 13, and December 11,
2007.
The City of Bremerton, by execution of this AGREEMENT, agrees to act as site
sponsor for this series of professional development training seminars. As the event sponsor,
the City will secure a reservation of the Meeting Chambers from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on
the aforementioned dates.
One-fourth of each workshops pre-established attendance capacity, without seminar
registration fee assessment, will be reserved for City of Bremerton employees.
lifeWork Training Solutions will be responsible for conducting the seminar series (on
the topics of teambuilding, priority management, and conflict resolution), the provision of
course materials for trainees, seminar registration, marketing, refreshments and all other
logistical concerns related to the seminar series. All printed material, including booklets,
handouts, etc..., generated by the contractor in connection with the training series will remain
the property of the presenter.
A curriculum outline and course description, detailing the aforementioned seminar
topics) has been presented to the event sponsor by the presenter and both parties have
agreed to the outline and agenda of each topic.
The presenter will be responsible for following all pre-established Meeting Chambers
rules and policies on parking and facility use, including providing proof of liability insurance
prior to the training series start date.
The presenter is responsible to obtain, at her own expense, all licenses and permits
and to pay taxes and fees as may be required of the contractor by the federal, state or local
governments in the execution of the terms of this contract.
This contract may be terminated, without cause, by either party with a four-week
written notice. This agreement sets forth the entire understandings of both parties
regarding this contractual arrangement and may not be modified except when executed in
writing by both parties.
This agreement shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the
laws of the State of Washington.
