with RH2 Engineers for 2008 Water Main
Improvements

SUMMARY: The Utilities Division has identified several water mains that need to be replaced due to
deterioration or are undersized. The proposed professional services contract is for design services for
these water mains. RH2 Engineers was chosen from the Engineering Division list of qualified
engineering firms for this type of work. Scope of Work, cbst and schedule are included in the exhibits
attached to the Professional Services Agreement.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The cost of this contract is $302,389. $500,000 is
budgeted in the Water Utility Capital budget for this professional services contract. Construction for
these projects will be budgeted in following years.
