SUMMARY: On May 16, 2007, the Bremerton Arts Commission presented to City Council JD
Francis as an artist selected to produce artwork to be installed at the Art Morken ~forcemeRt
Building located at 1025 Burwell Street and Council authorized the Commission to negotiate a Scope
of Work and finalize design. The artist's scope of work and contract have been completed and are
being brought forward for City Council approval.
ATTACHMENTS: Contract with JD Francis for Commissioned Artwork
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The 2007 Budget authorized the Arts Commission
to spend up to $72,088.00. This installation will cost $10,018.35 and there are sufficient funds in the
1 % For The Arts fund for this contract.
