SUMMARY: Bids were opened on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 for Reservoir No. 18 - Interior Coating
Replacement Project. A total of four (4) bids were received for the project (See attached Bid Opening
List).
The low bidder is Coatings Unlimited, Inc. from Kent, Washington for the Lump Sum Bid of
$138,590.00. The total contract amount, including Washington State Sales Tax, is $150,508.74. The
interior.coating lump sum estimate, not including Washington State Sales Tax, was $139,000 to
$144,000.
ATIACHMENTS: Bid Opening List; Council Summary; Water Tank Coating Evaluation; and
Reservoir 18 - Aerial Photo.
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The Water Fund 401 Maintenance Budget listed
under "Structures & Grounds - 54830" in the amount of $170,000 shall support this project.
