SUMMARY: The Department of Public Works and Utilities wants to purchase eight street lights for
Pacific Avenue from Sixth Street to Fourth Street. These street lights are Spring City style which
presently exists in the improved areas of downtown. Spring City Electrical Manufacturing is a sole
source provider for these street lights.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The cost ofthese lights is $53,205.31 including
sales tax. Funds for the improvement of Pacific A venue are in the 2007 Arterial Street Budget.
