SUMMARY: The City plans to purchase 12 Panasonic Toughbook CF74 MCTs and Microsoft
Office software to replace 12 Panasonic Toughbook CF27 MCTs. This is part of an ongoing
replacement program. The old units are Pentium III technology and they cannot run the latest records
software and wireless applications. The purchase is covered by an Inter Local Agreement with the
City of L ynnwood, W A who bid their acquisition and awarded the contract to Datec, Inc. This
acquisition is included in the expenditure budget of Information Technology for 2007. The Microsoft
Office software will be licensed through WS DIS using State contract pricing
