SUMMARY: Sealed bids for the project titled "Glenn Jarstad Aquatic Center Pool Tank
Renovation" were opened on July 9,2007. The estimate for the project is $100,000.00. ....L bid was
received for this project. Orca Pacific. Inc. was the lowest responsive, responsible bidder with a bid
amount of $ 108.545.70 (including sales tax).

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): This project is identified in the 2007 Parks &
Recreation Departments Capital Improvement Plan and is budgeted for in the 2007 Capital
Improvement Budget.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to award a contract in the amount of$108.545.70 (including sales tax) to Orca Pacific. Inc. to
provide materials and labor to renovate the pool tank at the Glenn J arstad Aquatic Center as specified
and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the necessary contract documents for completion of
this project.
