SUMMARY: The labor agreement between the City of Bremerton and International Association of
Firefighters Local #4372005 - 2008, had conflicting articles that created a pay decrease for the
Captains and Battalion Chief. The proposed amendment will resolve the issue and take effect on May
1,2007 for the six positions.
A TT ACHMENTS: Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Bremerton and the
International Association of Firefighters Local #437.
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): This will require a budget amendment to increase
the personnel costs in the amount of $6,375.

City of Bremerton and the International Association of Firefighters Local #437 with a corresponding
budget amendment and authorize the City to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the
same terms and conditions as presented.
