SUMMARY: As part of the dedication and construction of Marine vtew Drive in 1933, Kitsap
County was required to vacate County Road No. 305 back to the adjacent property owners. The
vacation was never completed by the County and the City annexed this area in 1961. As such the
responsibility for the vacation transferred from the County to the City. A public hearing is scheduled
for May 16, 2007 regarding the vacation. The proposed ordinance vacates a portion of former County
Road No. 305 adjacent to Marine lftew Drive.
