Annexation Ballot Measure.

SUMMARY: City Council is required to formally appoint Committeees to write statements "For"
and "Against" Primary Election Ballot Measures. A Ballot Measure on whether the West Hills Island
Annexation should be approved will be a Ballot Measure during the August 21, 2007 election.
Committee members do not have to be residents of the City, or reside within the geographic area of
the Ballot Measure. Each Committee may have up to three members, however, a Committee may
seek the advice of any person in preparing their statement(s).
