SUMMARY: Telma Hauth has been selected as the Court Services Mana r for the Bremerton
Municipal Court. Ms. Hauth has 26 years experience as a professional j lcial employee and is the
current president of the Washington State Municipal/District Court M agement Association. She
has been the Bainbridge Island Court Administrator for 13 years. H expertise with municipal courts
is extensive and the Court believes it is appropriate to hire Ms. H th above Rate 1 in Pay Band 15.
The Court is requesting City Council approval pursuant to BM 2.50.032(a) to hire Ms. Hauth at
Band 15 Rate 6. Additionally, Ms. Hauth has requested a six onth severance package in the event
her job is eliminated within the next six years due to the di olution of the Municipal Court and that
she receive 20 days vacation per year upon initial hire.
