SUMMARY: The Seattle Outboard Association (SOA) has once again applied to the City of
Bremerton for permission to hold their annual Kitsap HydroFest, a hydroplane and runabout boat
race, on May 19th and 20t\ 2007, on Kitsap Lake. This event is part of the 59th Annual Armed Forces
Festival and their 5th annual event on Kitsap Lake. The previous events were deemed successes and
no significant incidents associated with this event have been reported.
The organizers are expected to satisfactorily comply with the 2007 requirements set forth by the
Police, Fire, Risk Manager and Parks & Recreation Departments.
