The Kitsap County Historical Society Museum has accepted the Donor;s gift of the
object(s) listed on the obverse or on the attached pages, subject to the following
terms:
1. By execution of this Deed of Gift the Donor represents and warrants to the
Kitsap County Historicl Society Museum that he/she is the sole owner of title to the
object(s) and has full power and authority to give the object(s)to the Museum.
2. The Donor acknowledges that upon execution of this Deed of Gift, the Object(s)
irrevocably becomes the property of the Kitsap County Historical Society Museum and
may be exhibited, stored, maintaned, and disposed of as the Museum sees fit.
3. The Donor acknowledges that because of limited exhibition space and the policy
of changing exhibits, the Museum has not promised, and is in no way obligated, to
exhibit the object(s) in the Kitsap County Historical Society Museum.
The Donor is encouraged to seek the advise of counsel before claiming deductions for
the purpose of computing income and inheritance taxes under the laws of the state of
Washington and the United States. The Internal Revenue Service has determined that
Kitsap County Historical Society Museum is organized and operated as a non-profit
organization and is exempt from federal income tax pursuant to Section SOl(c) (3) of
the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, as emended.
