SUMMARY: The current provisions ofBMC Section 2.92.040 restrict the City's ability to bind
insurance coverage in a timely manner. The proposed ordinance amends BMC Section 2.92.040 in
order to authorize the Risk Manager to bind insurance coverage to protect the City of Bremerton.
