SUMMARY: As part of the dedication and construction of Marine ~ Drive in 1933, Kitsap
County was required to vacate County Rmid No. 305 to the adjacent property owners. Kitsap County
never completed the vacation and the City annexed this area in 1961. Therefore, the responsibility for
the vacation transferred from the County to the City. The City Council is requested to establish a
hearing date of May 16,2007, to consider the proposed vacation. In accordance with BMC
11.20.080( d), no compensation is required.
