SUMMARY: This equipment purchase is for the addition of an emergency generator at Pump
Station OB-2, located at 1429 Madrona Drive, for a total amount of $25,350.00, including sales tax.
An emergency generator is necessary because this station is the primary hub for five other sewage
pump stations and needs to be on-line during power outages.
ATTACHMENTS: 1. Current generator proposals from NC Power Systems, Cummins Northwest
and EC Power Systems; 2. Shoreline Exemption from DCD; 3. Photographs
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): This purchase is budgeted through the
WWTP/Pump Stations Capital Improvement Budget.
