Street and alley committee reported that contract had been signed by Mr
Ford and Mr Bulduc agreeing to put sidewalk in on Elizabeth street as soon
as Ball park fence is removed. Ordered Filed.
Bbreet and alley committee reported that retaining wall at Park was now
under construction and recommended that a flight of steps be placed at a
convenient location in the tNlll for the convenience of the public~

Sanitation committee reported tPAt Mr L.A.Bender was the owner, of certain
property at the north end of Pacific Ave. which was in an unsanitary conditi-

Wharf Committee stated that work ..s progressing as well as could be
,ted and tlat all the piles would be delivered this week.
, City Attorney reported that the condemnation of Mill street had been tried
during the week and the judge had awarded the Mill company $1800 and costs
amounting to $34.00. and matter was laid over one week. .
A.C.Thompson Superintendent of Ivygreen cemetery had again brought suit
on demurral" and had again been overruled by court.:~
Broadway condemnation District awards had been made and ~ warrants

Attorney introduced Resolution showing that the Bremerton,Lumber Company
has been for a long time past and are now occupying the'north end of Pacific
, Avenue without consent from the City and that as saidstreet>at this point
'was not of immediate use to the City same should ,be leased to the Company
and agreeing to the, further use of said property ail a monthly rental of
Fifty Dollarb. Motion by Carter and Calkins that Resolution be adopt~d as

with case against the water Company; Carried.

and also Bonds for Broadway condemnation District in the Brenlerton News and

the flag had not been flying on the City hall on Memorial Day! and Flag day
