of reduction on instwance rates if salt water mains and other improvements
'were installed; two of the surveyors from' the rating office were present
and MUM were called on for information,which was given;
Motion by Canter and Urban that the matter be referred to Fire.Li~ht and
Water Committee and Bldg Committee and the Bldg Inspector; Carr~ed.
Letter from Senator Poindexter to Senator Bryan read advising aim of the
action taken by Navy Department relative to Political activity by certain
Navy Yard Employees; Letter returned to Mr Bryan. .
