Mr Cartel1 reported that !-.(r Kenyon was hauling mud and placing same in
alley between 4th and'5th street without permission,and suggested that

Fire,Light and Water COlmnittee reported that arrangements were under way
with telephone Company.for'the installation of PoliOe call~ elso that
they had the matter' ~f ~ the purchase of new team fQr Fire Depft
had been given attent:...on,al1d that a good offer had been made to them;
Committee was given power to purchase team if found satisfactory.
Motion by McGlothlen and F11eder tHat street scraper be put on the streets
and that_street and Alley Cow~ittee employ the neoessary teams to do the
work; Carl'lied. Chief Via tt reported that two fire hydrants were out
of cummission, l'~r Brown of the water 6olnpa.ny stated that hydrants would be
repaired at once.
Mr Carter rep3rted that certain city lights were not in cJw~issionJ
Mr Foss stated that the Lighting Company always repaired lights as soon
as they were made aware that repairs were neededJand Mayor Me~~er stated
that any Citizen noticing any stre8t light burned out should notify the
Lighting Company at once.
Health and Sanitation CGL~littee reported that several places 'were in
ill1sanitary ocnditionJand Marshal instructed to notify owners.
