Minutes of the previous meeting read and approved.

and Braodway in Proper form. Same was approved and accepted.
Mr. Lents bond as sewer connector referred to 'trhe atty. '
Crawford reported dirt on theside walks in front ot the following property
Gordon property on Pacific Ave. &: the 15ender house on pleasant :"'ave.
Clerk instructed to notify the owners or agents.
Palmer reported that the gutters on Warren Ave. will ba repaired as soo~ 8B
posBible, 80 as to keep the water from going into the ball park. ~
HanBon reported that the gutters in front. of the rivers property on Washi~
Ave are low and shauld be raised at once.

Fire light and water comm. recommended that the light asked for by theCity
'Council of Charleston Be placed at the interaction of 6th and High Street.
Moved by FOBS sec. By Palmer that the light in question be placed at 6th
and High street.~ Eremerton to pay one half of the s~e. Carried
Buffington reported that the shipment of hay received was 6 bales short
Moved by Hanson sec. byCrawford that the bill for the same be presented to
the Edith Transportation Co. Carried. Atty, instructed _, look after
the matter. Urban reported that arrangments are under way for the openingo
of Mill Street ToSheldon Blvd. ~t~
Foss suggested that it be definetlt s to wether the coumcil will make
an exchange or nof. and recommended t at no exchange be made but that the
property necessary for the proposed extent ion be c'ndemned.
Palmer suggested that the offer be made to the Mill Co. That they give the
land and the city improve the same .
Moved by MileB Bec by Urban that the matter be referred to Finance Comm. fot
another week. Carried.
Mr. Benbennick addresed council in the mAtter of the sewer connection and
stated that he would' not pay for a sewer untill the same was laid in front
; ,of his property, that the city could diec'nnect hiD sewer if they see :fit
as he has a private sewer to connect to.
Mr. Bunker reported that the toilets at the park areXIKJ>> stopped up
Referred to that park Commissioners.
