SUMMARY:
Council has confirmed previous appointments to the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee and with
passage of Ordinance No. 5""l>()1, Council must now authorize the re-appointments of those
individuals serving on the advisory committee with defined terms. The action before the City
Council is re-appointing Silvia Klatman, Executive Director of the Bremerton Area Chamber of
Commerce for a I-year term and Ruth Enderle, Executive Director of the Admiral Theatre for a
3-year term, as representatives of organizations eligible to receive funding; and Corky Trent, General
Manager for the Super 8 Motel for a 3-year term and David Tufts, General Manager for the Hampton
Inn and Suites for a 2-year term, as representatives' of hotels that collect the lodging tax. The effective
date of each ofthe terms will be the same as the effective date of Ordinance No. 500(.
