SUMMARY: In conjunction with the Bremerton Downtown Ferry Tunnel Project it is necessary to
underground the existing electrical distribution system located on I sl St. between Pacific Avenue and
Washington Avenue. The Schedule 74 Underground Conversion Agreement with Puget Sound
Energy will govern the completion of the Conversion Project.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The City is responsible for an estimated $57,260
in shared expenses. City costs for this work will be reimbursed through the Utility Relocation
Agreement with Washington State Department of Transportation previously approved by the City
Council on January 3, 2007.
