SUMMARY: The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee recommended and City Council approved in the FY2007
Budget that the Bremerton Area Chamber of Commerce be awarded a contract to promote tourism for the City of
Bremerton for $42,200 for 2007. The source of funding for this contract comes from Lodging Tax revenue. The
scope of services must include a work plan setting forth goals and objectives for successful tourism promotion.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Tourism Promotion Services Agreement between the City of Bremerton and the
Bremerton Area Chamber of Commerce for 2007 in the amount not to exceed $42, 200 and authorize the
Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement in substantially the same form as presented.
