Home My WebLink About3020 RESOLUTION NO. ~O A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Bremerton, Washington, approving a State Revolving Fund Loan (SRF) for the Bremerton Combined Sewer Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade Project. WHEREAS, the Department of Ecology, a Washington State Agency, has established a State Revolving Fund (SRF) for providing financial assistance for partial reimbursement for design and construction activities for the Bremerton Combined Sewer Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade Project; and WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton desires to participate in the loan from said SRF; and WHEREAS, a requirement to participate requires a resolution of the governing body authorizing the City of Bremerton to receive said SRF loan; NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON, WASHINGTON, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City of Bremerton desires to participate in the SRF Loan Program. SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Bremerton does hereby authorize the City of Bremerton to receive a SRF Loan for the Bremerton Combined Sewer Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade Project design and construction activities, pursuant to the terms and conditions of said loan. SECTION 3. The Mayor is authorized to take any and all actions as are necessary and appropriate to participate in the SRF Loan Program. SECTION 4. Severabilitv. If anyone or more sections, subsections, or sentences of this Resolution are held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion of this Resolution and the same shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 5. Effective Date. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage. n .
