SUMMARY: The current provisions of Section 2.46.100 of the Bremerton Municipal Code relating
to awards for exemplary employee service do not articulate the standards under which the awards may
be granted. The proposed ordinance amends Section 2.46.100 to provide for the Mayor to authorize
awards to an employee or employees for exceptional performance, service or other achievements and
establishes standards for making those awards.
