Police Building

SUMMARY: The Bremerton Police Department has been preparing for its relocation to a new
facility for over two years. Part of this preparation involved purposely tightening its operating
spending this year with out hindering police services for our citizens or to the detriment of employee
performance. The current budget status reflects the Police Department's good stewardship ofthe

entrusted operating funds. No major purchases are planned for the remainder of2006. The last
quarter of 2006 work will be completed, but perhaps on a thinner dime.
ATTACHMENTS: Attached Explanatory Memorandum
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): $46,000.00 will be moved from the operating budget
accounts and line items into the police capital fund. Funds are available in the existing 2006 budget.
