SUMMARY: The Bremerton City Council adopted the 2006 annual City budget by Ordinance No.
4959 on December 7,2005. Certain programs have been implemented and actions taken during the
year which have an impact on the City's 2006 budget resulting in the need to amend the 2006 budget
document.
ATTACHMENTS: Ordinance and Discussion Memo with attached fund recaps.
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Most funds ofthe City are updated by this
ordinance at a minimum to reflect the actual beginning fund balances. The attached discussion memo
and supporting schedules provide the net fiscal impact to each fund for the proposed changes. Ending
fund balances for the General Fund and Utility Systems meet or exceed the City's Adopted Financial
Goals & Policies expectations as amended by this ordinance. Gold Mountain Golf does not meet the
target ending fund level but is improved from the adopted 2006 budget with the amendments as
proposed.
