CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
Wednesday, September 13, 2006
The weekly meeting of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the City
Council Chambers, of the NORM DICKS GOVERNMENT CENTER 345 6th Street, Bremerton,
Washington, Wednesday, September 13, 2006, at 5:30 PM, with Council President Cecil
McConnell presiding. Council members present were Nick Wofford, Will Maupin, Carol Arends,
Dianne Robinson, Wendy Priest, Adam Brockus, and Brad Gehring. Council Member Mike
Shepherd was absent. Also present were City Attorney Roger Lubovich; City Clerk Paula
Johnston; and Legislative Assistant Lori Smith.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Council Member Brad Gehrina followed by the invocation
provided by Council Member Carol Arends.
President McConnell announced that a Pre-Council Session to discuss General Council
Business was held in Council Conference Room 603 from 5:00 to 5:30 PM; and invited the public
to attend the Council STUDY SESSION in Council Conference Room 603 immediately following the
Council Meeting.
PUBLIC RECOGNITION & ANNOUNCEMENTS - There were no comments or announcements.
CONSENT AGENDA
A. Check Numbers 311162 through 311346; EFT-9212 through EFT-9228 in the amount of
$1,557,204.76; and Regular Payroll in the amount of $710,032.28 for the pay period ending
August 31, 2006 (#AB06-191)
B. Resolution No. 3009, setting a Public Hearing date of October 4, 2006 for the proposed
ordinance authorizing a Multi-Family Tax Exemption (#AB06-192)
There were no comments from the public.
05:32:20 M/S/C/U (Priest/Arends) Move to approve the Consent Agenda as presented.
With no further business, the meeting of the City Council was adjourned at 5:33 PM. The Council
reconvened in Council Conference Room 603 for a STUDY SESSION to hear presentations on
upcoming agenda items.
