CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
VVednesday, August9,2006
The weekly meeting of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the City
Council Chambers, of the NORM DICKS GOVERNMENT CENTER 345 6th Street, Bremerton,
VVashington, VVednesday, August 9, 2006, at 5:30 PM, with Council President Cecil McConnell
presiding. Council members present were Nick VVofford, VVill Maupin, Carol Arends, Dianne
Robinson, VVendy Priest, Adam Brockus, and Brad Gehring. Council Member Mike Shepherd was
absent. Also present were Assistant City Attorney Ken Bagwell; City Clerk Paula Johnston; and
Legislative Assistant Lori Smith.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Council Member Brad GehrinQ followed by the invocation
provided by Council Member Dianne Robinson.
President McConnell announced that a Pre-Council Session to discuss General Council
Business was held in Council Conference Room 603 from 5:00 to 5:30 PM, and included an
Executive Session to "Review Labor Negotiations" per R.C.VV. 42.30.140(4)(b).

CONSENT AGENDA
A. Check Numbers 310408 through 310584; and EFT-9138 through EFT-9149 in the amount of
$1,335,640.80; and Regular Payroll in the amount of $693,736.81 for the pay period ending
July 31,2006 (#AB06-168)
There were no comments from the public.

VVith no further business, the meeting of the City Council was adjourned at 5:33 PM. The Council
reconvened in Council Conference Room 603 for a STUDY SESSION to hear presentations on
upcoming agenda items.
