SUMMARY: The proposed ordinance makes amendments to the Bremerton Shoreline Master
Program to ensure consistency with new Critical Areas Ordinance regulations adopted in March of
2006, and to correct clearly outdated or erroneous elements of the existing Shoreline Master Program.
The proposed amendments remove an unworkable provision for view corridors in single family
residential environments and improve public shoreline access with a documented network of public
Shoreline Access points.
