The incumbent has been officially notified of this proposed action. It is anticipated that there will be an initial annual savings of approximately $7,000 from this realignment, which will be used to fund additional seasonal maintenance labor. If approved by Council, this action will be effective as of September 1, 2006. There were no comments from the public. Ms. Priest expressed her appreciation for the work done by the person in the Administrative Analyst position [Jodi Wroblewski] and thanked her for her time with the City. Mrs. Arends stated that although she was a supporter of the Parks and the new Parks & Recreation Director, she was disappointed to not see more of a comprehensive plan of what is hoped for the Parks program; and therefore was ambivalent regarding this proposal. 05:47:11 M/S/C/U (Shepherd/Gehring) Move to approve the recommendation to eliminate the position of Administrative Analyst, and add a new position entitled "Park Development Planner" to the Professional Salary Plan at Pay Band 11.
