WHEREAS, the bid of the Tacoma G. M. C. Truck Comp'any for two garbage ~isposal
trucks and two Garwood Load-Packer bodies is irregular in that the State s~les tax in
the sum of $43V.06 is added to the amount of the bid to make a total of $15,005.84,
and
WHEREAS, the said bid is regular in all other respects and is actually a bi8 in
the sum of ~14,568.V8, exclusive of sales tax,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Bremerton
waive sai~ irregularity in said bid, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said~bl~ be accepte~ subject to the approval of the
F.W.A., and
BE IT ?~R~TNER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer be instructed to trsmsfer
.~4500.00 from the State Aid Fund to the Sanitary Construction Account, ~¥ash. 45-260N,
on deposit with the Bremerton Trust an8 Savings Bank, for the purpose of matching
Federal funds so that there will be a sufficient amount in said account to pay the
purchase price of said equipment.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by the ~layor, and
attested by the City Clerk in a~thentication of such passage this 8th day of December,
1943.
